Just hit 40. Not sure how I'd define time. Interested to see what you come up with. From this inflection point I aim to stop looking back searching for explanations and intend to look forward seeking to add to the hope I have been given so far. :)

I thought you didn’t read my essays because you didn’t like homework? Guess turning 40 changes things. 😎

Glad you're here for it dude. Hope’s a good thing to aim for, even if it keeps moving when you get close.🏴‍☠️

That makes perfect sense. Some things can’t be measured on a shared scale and time’s definitely one of them. I can’t tell you what time is, I can only point to the trail it left across my life and hope the shape means something to you too. It won’t land for everyone the same way, and that’s okay. Incommensurability is actually the perfect word. I just hope that by laying my version bare, it might resonate with someone else carrying a different version they haven’t found words for yet.

There’s something oddly poetic about that, like we’re all just hoping our scars eventually balance the scale. If meaning is measured in years, I’m rich in weight but bankrupt in clarity. Still, the trail’s good company. Glad you’re on it, even if we’re all carrying different clocks.🏴‍☠️
